Magic Briefs: How to retain your foreskin without trying

by Tally on April 1, 2010 Bookmark and Share

Magic Briefs as a foreskin retainer holding my foreskin forward and over my glans penisI frequent several foreskin restoration forums and websites. A member of one of those sites calls my underwear "magic briefs" because I keep talking about how my briefs keep my skin forward over my glans.

About two months after I started restoring my foreskin, my inner foreskin remnant started getting so sensitive that it was irritating for it to rub against the cloth of my shorts. So, I started wearing a baby bottle nipple retainer whenever I was not tugging.

Wearing a foreskin retainer made the problem worse. With my skin covered all the time, my inner forskin remnant and my glans dekeratinized, becoming even more sensitive. I needed to make sure that my newly sensitive skin was always protected. When I did not wear a retainer, the irritation was very distracting. Fortunately, as my foreskin grew longer, it was easier to keep my glans covered with a retainer and it became much less of a problem. I wore a foreskin retainer whenever I was not tugging.

Around my 5th month of restoring, my foreskin was long enough that my underwear would keep my skin over my glans. I wear briefs. I like them tight so that they hold me close. I never cared for having my junk flopping around. I always preferred to have my junk front and center, pointing straight up.

Before I started restoring, my glans and inner foreskin were not sensitive at all. The tissue was keratinized and it looked like the rest of my skin. At least, everywhere except one place. The dorsal corona was always purple in color and sensitive. Now that I have been restoring, I know that, because I kept my penis up and centered, the part of my glans pressing against my abdomen never completely keratinized before restoring. All of my glans is now a reddish-purple color because I am completely dekeratinized.

My form fitting briefs are well suited for holding my skin forward and keeping my glans covered. My briefs are tight enough that, with my foreskin pulled over my glans, the pressure against the skin is enough to keep it in place. My briefs replace my foreskin retainer during the day. I prefer to sleep in the buff, so I still need to wear a retainer to bed.

The only down side to relying on my briefs is that there is nothing to hold the skin forward when I have an erection. With a baby bottle nipple retainer, my skin is tensioned when I have an erection. I have enough slack that I stay covered when erect. The skin is tight, though. Wearing briefs, I don't stay covered during erections. Bummer.

An added benefit is that when I go to the bathroom and I whip it out, I feel like I am intact. I am fully covered and there is no retainer to remove. That is a good feeling.

Because my briefs do all these amazing things, they are my magic briefs.

#1 About 2-3 ago I discovered

About 2-3 ago I discovered Banana Republic pima cotton boxer briefs. The pima cotton is noticeably softer and smoother than regular cotton, and I've complete switched to them from boxers.

See you on the forums.
