How to start restoring your foreskin

by Tally on June 30, 2010

Tugging your foreskin can be fun, but don't pull too hardA common question for those interested in starting to restore their foreskin is how to start restoring.

Many men restore because two things will happen. First, foreskin restoration will result in a reasonable facsimile of a foreskin. And, second, foreskin restoration will increase sensitivity by allowing the glans and inner foreskin remnant to return to their normal, mucosal state. The second happens normally as a consequence of the first, but many men want to speed it up. I originally did not want to regain my sensitivity until I had enough skin to protect my newly sensitive glans. But, I regained some sensitivity before I had enough skin. And, it was very irritating having my sensitive glans rubbing against my clothing.

How to start restoring depends upon what is valued more, skin or sensitivity.

Taking a break from foreskin restoration

by Tally on March 5, 2010

Out to lunch - taking a break from restoring my foreskinRecently, I noticed a red spot on my penis. I am restoring my foreskin by manual tugging. Because I spend so much time manipulating my penis by tugging, I am very aware of any changes. The spot was small, about an 1/8 inch (3mm) long on my sulcus next to my corona glans. It did not hurt and was not painful to touch. I only knew it was there because I could see it.

I am not certain, but I think it was the beginning of a skin tear. I primarily use manual tugging method 2. I am focusing on growing more inner foreskin, so I tug between my sulcus and my circuncision scar. The red spot was right at where I grip my inner foreskin near my corona.

Baby bottle nipple retainers

by Tally on December 1, 2009

Before I started restoring my foreskin, my penis was not very sensitive. My glans and shaft were the same color and texture as my arm. That is, my penis looked just like normal skin. Also, it was not particularly sensitive. I lost a lot of sensitivity with 50 years worth of rubbing against my shorts. The rubbing calloused my mucosal membranes. Then, I started restoring my foreskin.

After 2 months of manual tugging, my shaft skin was very wrinkled. I was almost a CI-3 on the coverage index scale. My inner foreskin remnant was starting to bunch up against my corona. With my inner foreskin remnant bunched up and protected, it started getting sensitive.

Unfortunately, as I moved around the bunching of the inner foreskin rolled back and forth against my shorts. The rubbing of the newly sensitive inner foreskin was very irritating. The solution was to pull my growing foreskin forward so that the inner foreskin would stay inside and be protected.

My manual tugging routine for foreskin restoration

by Tally on November 25, 2008

I almost exclusively use manual tugging. I have both a TLC-X and a DTR, but I use them only for a couple hours a week.

I manually tug 1 to 2 hours a day, every day. My routine fits into my lifestyle and I don't feel that I have to make time to tug. I just tug at the same time I am doing what I normally do.
