1 year progress report for restoring foreskin

by Tally on August 10, 2009 Bookmark and Share

Just one year ago I discovered foreskin restoration. Now, a year later, anyone would call me obsessed with foreskin restoration.

A lot has happened in the past year. I started restoration just before prostate surgery. Both that surgery and my foreskin restoration proved to be very successful. I became very active in the battle against routine infant circumcision. This website was born as part of my desire to be active.

I am a grower. I started restoration with loose skin on my flaccid penis. With an erection, my skin was tight. I started with method 2 of manual tugging. I still use that method, along with the squeeze-stretch technique. I have tugged between 1 and 2 hours a day, every day for the past year. The nice thing about manual tugging is that Icould do it while I was doing other stuff. I tugged in the shower and at every bathroom break.

Now, at the 1-year mark, I have full flaccid coverage almost all the time. I am about a CI-6/7 about 90% of the time. Sometimes, I have a slight overhang and my foreskin tip clamps down, making a tight pucker. The tight pucker does not happen often as the dog days of August continue and the temperature gets very hot.

My inner foreskin remnant just barely rolls over my corona. This puts my outer skin next to my glans, giving me a double-layer of outer skin at my foreskin tip. I am focusing all my tugging on growing more inner foreskin. I figure that I need at least one more inch (25mm) before I have inner foreskin covering my glans. This should make my foreskin thinner where it covers the glans.

My inner foreskin is growing very slowly. I started with 1 inch (25mm) of inner foreskin (measured on the dorsal surface). That grew to 1-1/2 inches (37mm) at the 6 month mark. I have only 1-5/8 inch (40mm) at the 1-yr mark. My tugging routine has changed since I began. I have started to tug less frequently during the day, although I still tug for an hour or more a day. I used to tug every hour or two, whenever I went to the bathroom. As my prostate improved, I went to the bathroom less often. Also, as my inner foreskin got more sensitive, it was irritating to tug the inner foreskin, so I mainly tugged that skin in the shower and again in the evening. I am starting to tug more frequently, like I was doing in the first few months. I'll see if that jump starts my growth again.

I wear a retainer when I sleep. I wear briefs and that keeps my foreskin covering my glans during the day. I stay covered 24/7 and my glans has gotten shiny, smooth, and sensitive because of that. My inner foreskin is lagging behind in changing, but I think that is because the manual tugging is irritating the inner foreskin.

Besides the increased sensitivity and enhanced sexual pleasure, I notice a subtle difference with having enough skin to keep my glans covered. It is hard to describe, but I feel more confident, more emotional, and more in tune with my inner being. It is as if my body knows it is almost whole again and it is returning to its more natural state.

It makes me wonder what kind of person I would have grown up to be if I had been allowed to keep the foreskin that I was born with.

Sounds like you have made some really good progress. I've been tugging for only 6 mos and I still don't have rollover. I keep my head covered and it is a whole lot more sensitive. It feels really good.
