Moralogous:The purpose of circumcision is to ruin male sexuality
This blog starts out with the illustrations from the Sorrells study showing the sensitivity of different regions of the intact and circumcised penis. That study showed that the most sensitive parts of the penis are removed by circumcision. The history of circumcision shows that the point of circumcision is to dull male sexuality, and it has been a huge success.
The Jewish Press:US Pediatric Doctor Favors Female Circumcision
The genital cutting of any child is abhorrent. The medical doctor and fellow at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), justifies his position by referring repeatedly to the words of classical Islamic scholars. Certain other religions point to scripture and religious scholars to justify male infant circumcision. But there is not outcry about that.
"Babies can’t feel pain. And even if he does feel pain, he won’t remember it anyway!" A rather heartless justification for causing pain to your son.
My memories of circumcision:
Although I was raised in a family that didn’t talk about sex, or our bodies, and even used made up words to talk about bathroom behaviors and body parts, I had questions. I was very young when I started asking my mom about my penis. Of course nobody had ever mentioned it, but I knew that I had been "CUT" down there. I actually believed at the time that the doctor had carved the groove behind my glans (what I now know as the sulcus). I wasn’t sure what had been done, but I knew it had been an act of cutting. I knew I had been hurt. I learned later that I was missing something. I was missing something important.
I was in college when I had my first intact boyfriend; it was then that I figured out what, exactly, I was missing. When I first saw him without clothes, I was excited to see what a “normal” penis looked like—the way they’re supposed to be. What I didn’t expect to see is how he got pleasure from things that would have had no effect upon my scarred, diminished penis. Compared to him, I had to go to extremes to get even a little pleasure. I knew I had been robbed . . . I just hadn’t realized the extent and value of what had been taken.
This wasn’t my first knowledge of the intact penis. I learned about the intact penis and foreskin in school and had already developed the intactivist spirit. But it was my first "hands-on" experience with one.

Beyond the Bris: Questioning Jewish Circumcision:Choosing Brit Shalom Over Brit Milah
A Jewish mother tells of holding a Brit Shalom for her son. She and her husband decided against circumcising their son. Her son grew up happy to have his whole penis. He is actively involved with Judaism and has not been held back because he was not circumcised.
Solutions:Lawmakers reconsider circumcision for babies on Medicaid
An amendment adding circumcision payments to Medicaid was voted down in the Colorado Senate last week. This week a senate subcommittee voted to move the bill forward. Huh? It seems like some in Colorado really want to cut the sex organs of baby boys.
sitfu.com:Circumcision – Male Genital Mutilation
sitfu questions why male genital mutilation is so accepted as a societal custom. "’s like, after the baby boy is born, as if that’s not traumatic enough, he is then forced to suffer the excruciating pain and shock of having a very important piece of his body cut off … from the most sensitive part of his body, no less!"

barrels of oranges:For the Modern parent and the Circumcision Decision
A mother gives 8 reasons why modern parents should leave their sons whole and intact. It is important to remember that circumcision is a euphemism for genital cutting, for a permanent, irreversible body modification of a baby. Every human has a right to their whole body.
A new foreskin restoration device was introduced this week. Happy Aardvark Restoration Tools or HART is a dual tension tugging device made by a foreskin restorer for other restorers. He is selling the devices on his Happy Aardvark Restoration Tools website.

Moralogous:When your husband wants to circumcise
In a YouTube video, the author discusses how she and her husband decided not to circumcise their first child. It was not an easy decision because the two disagreed. Fortunately, the mother prevailed and the father let his son keep all of his body parts.
LiveJournal:circumcised vs uncircumcised (Not working: Page removed from web)
A woman describes the difference between sex with a circumcised man and one who is intact. She says that circumcised men seem to get less pleasure from sex than intact men. She believes that circumcision greatly affects their sex life, and not in a good way.

barrels of oranges:How I became an Intactivist
A mother of one son writes about how she became an intactivist, fighting for the rights of baby boys to keep their body whole and intact. She and her husband were of the same mind about not circumcising before their son was born. It was only later that she found how infant circumcisions were performed by watching a circumcision video. That was the clincher for being an intactivist. No child should have to go through a painful circumcision and live with only part of his penis.
the full moxie:Circumcision: No longer the norm?
After letting her first son be circumcised, this mother reconsidered and left her second son whole and intact. She learned that intact son number two was much easier to care for than the circumcised son.
Medical Journal:Child Circumcision: An Elephant in the Hospital
Ryan McAllister filmed a class where he taught about genital cutting, including male infant circumcision. His video, Child Circumcision: An Elephant in the Hospital, presents the facts about genital cutting in a very thorough and understanding manner. This is a video well worth watching. He explains what infant circumcision is, how it is performed, and the effect it has on the physiology of the male.
This week is Genital Integrity Awareness Week. Every year, the Stop Infant Circumcision Society sponsors a Demonstration / March Against Infant Circumcision at the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. Many intactivists demonstrate in Washington, DC, and other places. We wish to inform others of the harm of infant circumcision and that baby boys have the right to grow up with all their parts.

Huff Post Women:Circumcised or Uncircumcised: Does It Matter in Sex?
A woman writes about her first encounter with an intact man. Until then, she had only been used to circumcised men. She liked it so much, she did more research. She recommends that women should have sex with an intact man at least once so that they can see what they have been missing. The author even linked to another post with tips on giving an uncircumcised man oral sex. This is yet one more example of how women love foreskin.

Daily Monitor:Male circumcision: Effects that people should know
A scientist in Uganda questions the efficacy of the male circumcision campaign being waged in Africa. He points out that there is evidence against male circumcision. The evidence shows that the effects of circumcision are overstated. Also, there is evidence that circumcision harms the male long term and adversely affects his sexual pleasure.
Conversation between radio host Pete Morgan, Su-Anna Boddy, (Paediatric Urologist at St. George's Hospital in London) and David Smith of NORM-UK (The National Organization of Restoring Men.)
Foreskin restoration site RestoringForeskin.org is three years old this week. Restoring Foreskin.org is a site dedicated to men who wish to undo the damage and harm caused by their circumcision. The site offers information on foreskin restoration and offers support and encouragement to restorers.
Two years, two weeks, and two days ago, the popular foreskin restoration site RestoreForeskin.org announced that it was shutting down in two weeks. I and many others did not want such a valuable resource to disappear. QBMan volunteered to help me build this site. After two weeks of intensive effort, RestoringForeskin.org was born.
When I decided to start RestoringForeskin.org, I never imagined that it would grow like it has. I also never imagined how much work was required to build it, and the amount of work required to keep it running. I am very thankful to those who have volunteered to help. I really appreciate the site moderators, who keep the site on an even keel, and the site sponsors who ensure the funds to keep RestoringForeskin.org on-line. I thank all of the members for making RestoringForeskin.org the supportive site that it has become.

Mainstream media has picked up on the study that reported a correlation between circumcision and prostate cancer. One doctor, a surgeon, has publicly stated that the media reporting is overhyped and the study does not support the many headlines.

Child Up:Should You Circumcise your Child?
A pragmatic look at male infant circumcision. The conclusion is that there is no medical reason to support cutting of part of a baby boy's sex organ.
Body + Soul:The circumcision debate
An article weighing the pros and cons to male infant circumcision in Australia. The general slant is that male infant circumcision serves no purpose in modern societies. Pro-circumcisionist Brian Morris did not like the article, based on his comment to the post. What is this fascination with cutting the sex organs of baby boys that some men have?
Restoring Tally is just an ordinary guy who had to confront his prostate and circumcision problems. This site chronicles his journey in dealing with these issues. He has had prostate surgery and he is restoring his foreskin.
