The Local: Sweden's News in English: Boys not circumcised without medical grounds
Several county and regional health authorities in Sweden continue to contravene national guidelines by refusing to perform circumcisions on boys who lack specific medical grounds for the surgery. These ethical doctors are being criticized because others think parents will go to butchers for the surgery. Too bad they are not holding the parents accountable for non-therapeutic infant circumcisions.

The Gospel of Joe: The Foreskin Covenant
An irreverent look at Genesis 17 and why we cut our penis. Fun fact – Circumcision is the process of forcibly restraining a person (usually an unconsenting baby) and proceeding to hack off the end of his penis. In ancient times, circumcision was performed using a sharp rock. Recently, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) concluded that “there is considerable evidence that newborns who are circumcised without analgesia experience pain.”

Examiner: Why Americans circumcise reason 5 - To protect their sons from phimosis
The foreskin of young boys is fused to the glans and the foreskin is non-retractable. The foreskin becomes naturally retractable as the boy gets older. sometimes, the boy reaches puberty before the foreskin is retractable. Until the foreskin is retractable naturally, there cannot be phimosis. Premature retraction of the boy's foreskin often damages the penis and results in scarring, which sometimes leads to phimosis.

DrMomma Peaceful Parenting: African Healer Sees Higher HIV Rates, Lower Condom Use After Circumcision
An unfortunate consequence of the circumcision campaign in Africa is that men believe that their circumcision protects them from HIV. They are wrong. Condoms must be used regardless of the man being circumcised or intact. So, why circumcise?

NPR Ombudsman: Interview about Circumcision: Not the Whole Story
