A pro-circumcision doctor gets a firestorm of well-informed comments pointing out how her reasons for advocating male infant circumcison are not suppported by science. The doctor advocates circumcision and relies on studies that conclude the HIV rate is reduced for circumcised men. She does not even consider that the HIV rate is increased for women who have sex with circumcised men or that for men who have sex with men, the circumcision status has no effect.
