@Joseph4GI, good point. The article What do AIDS activists want more money for? supports your point. The HIV/AIDS epidemic is of lesser magnitude than other problems in third world countries. But, funds and resources for addressing these other problems are being diverted to the HIV/AIDS programs. Rather than having a cohesive health program, there are now special interest groups, such as UNAIDS, that are driving funding and resources toward programs that benefit the special interest groups.
