Taking a break from foreskin restoration

Out to lunch - taking a break from restoring my foreskinRecently, I noticed a red spot on my penis. I am restoring my foreskin by manual tugging. Because I spend so much time manipulating my penis by tugging, I am very aware of any changes. The spot was small, about an 1/8 inch (3mm) long on my sulcus next to my corona glans. It did not hurt and was not painful to touch. I only knew it was there because I could see it.

I am not certain, but I think it was the beginning of a skin tear. I primarily use manual tugging method 2. I am focusing on growing more inner foreskin, so I tug between my sulcus and my circuncision scar. The red spot was right at where I grip my inner foreskin near my corona.

Obviously, the red spot was from tugging. So, I decided to stop tugging for a day or two to see if the spot would go away. Stopping tugging was not easy. I have been tugging for a long time. It has become a habit and I don't even think about it. So, even though I wanted to stop tugging for a day or so, I found it difficult. I was taking a shower when I suddenly realized that I was tugging, just as I normally do in the shower.

Even though I was not able to completely stop tugging, the spot disappeared after a couple days. I started tugging, again. After a few days, the spot returned.

This called for more drastic intervention. I decided to stop tugging for a week or two. I would stop cold-turkey and let my penis heal. I know I could do it. So I toughed it out for two weeks.

When I stopped tugging, my glans was a nice pink color. When erect, it was shiny and glossy. It was also very sensitive to the touch. When I was flaccid, my glans was wrinkled. My inner foreskin remnant was a nice pink color, but it was not as glossy and shiny as my glans when erect.

I often thought that my glans and inner foreskin dekeratinization was hindered by my manual tugging. The continued tugging was keeping my glans and inner foreskin from fully returning to its mucosal state.

For the two weeks I did not tug, I wore a retainer and protected my glans. At the end of the two weeks, I was pleasantly surprised at the change. My glans was shiny and glossy even when flaccid. It would not stay that way long, but it was still a big change. My inner foreskin remnant was also different. It was much smoother and shiny when erect. Both my glans and inner foreskin changed color to a healthy, pink.

Along with the change in appearance, my penis became much more sensitive to touch. Rolling my restored foreskin over my corona and glans during masturbation felt great! If this was what an intact man felt, then I really wanted to continue to restore.

I have been tugging for several weeks. The red spot has not returned. My glans is still shiny when flaccid. My inner foreskin remnant, although, has returned to a less glossy look and is not quite as sensitive as it was. I like manual tugging and have good results with it.

I know that I have a lot to look forward to when I finish tugging. Not only will I have enough skin to cover my glans, but I will have a penis that looks a lot like the original equipment. I have no basis of comparison to how an intact penis feels. I do know that my restored foreskin feels much better than my circumcised penis, and it should feel much better after I stop tugging.
