16 Month progress report for restoring foreskin

16 month progress report of foreskin restoration of a routine infant circumcisionSixteen months sounds like a long time, but it is flying by for me. At least, now it is. I remember when I started tugging I thought, wow, this is going to take a long time! Well, not really. It also helps that my progress has been rapid. I went from a wrinkled shaft to full flaccid coverage in that time.

Full flaccid coverage is a good milestone. After reaching this point in my restoration, I have two more goals. I want to have enough inner foreskin to cover my glans. The other goal is that I want to have enough restored foreskin so that I don't have to wear a retainer to bed. I am working on the first goal almost exclusively now. I figure the second goal, not having to wear a foreskin retainer, will happen in time.

At least I hope so. I have been less motivated lately. And, with less motivation I have not been tugging as faithfully as I should. I still tug every morning in the shower. But, I rarely tug when I go to the bathroom and, more often than not, I don't tug in the evening. Ten minutes of manual tugging a day is not enough.

There are several reasons I have been lacking motivation. I have a lot more sensitivity and the gliding motion of the foreskin is fantastic. I am sure it can be better, but it won't be as dramatic a change as it has been so far.

I have full flaccid coverage unaided all day long. My glans is comfortably enclosed in my restored foreskin. Other than the occasional erection, I stay covered during the day. This will improve as I grow more skin. But, the improvement will be minor compared to how it is now compared to before I restored.

The other factor affecting my motivation is time. I am self-employed. I got rid of an underperforming employee a year ago and I have been swamped doing the work of two people. It does not help that I oversold my services and have too much work. As if work was not enough, I have built several websites, including this one. Managing these sites takes time. I also spend about 1 to 2 hours a day online as an intactivist. Well, something has to give. I've cut down sleeping to only about 4 hours a night. I am rushing around trying to get everything done, which leaves little time for tugging.

As for results, I have been focusing almost entirely on tugging my inner foreskin remnant. Unfortunately, I have not seen any appreciable progress in months with respect to my inner foreskin. My outer skin is still growing. Not very fast because only the skin next to my circ scar is being tensioned. But, it is growing much faster than my inner foreskin.

The slow inner foreskin growth is contributing to my lack of motivation. I had been changing up my routine, but the lack of progress is frustrating. I am sure it is just a temporary plateau. But, until I regain my motivation I think I will be stuck at the plateau.

I am not one to give up. But, I also recognize that I cannot do everything. As the title of this blog states, I need to continue restoring, not just my foreskin, but my life. With my current work schedule and intactivism activities I am getting burned out, if I am not already there. I am re-evaluating where I am and what I am doing. I have started making changes. They will take time, particularly with my business. I have obligations and I cannot, I will not, drop them. Foreskin restoration can take a back seat for a short time while I work on restoring the rest of my life. Stay tuned for future developments.
